Italian Program
At TAIS, we offer our students, starting from first grade, the opportunity to follow the full Italian ministerial program, ensuring they stay on track with their peers in the Italian school system. This integrated approach allows students to gain a solid foundation in all subjects outlined in the Italian curriculum while maintaining a direct connection with the national educational system.
The Italian ministerial program, from first grade to middle school (third grade), includes the following main areas of study:
- Italian language and literature: development of linguistic skills, reading, and analysis of literary texts.
- Mathematics: arithmetic, geometry and algebra.
- Science: natural sciences, physics, chemistry, and biology.
- History and geography: study of Italian and world history, and physical and human geography.
- Foreign languages: in addition to English, language used to carry out the American Program, students begin learning Spanish from first grade and French from middle school.
- Technology and computer science: basic technology skills.
- Physical education, music and art: development of motor and artistic skills.
This program enables TAIS students to easily integrate into the Italian educational system and be well-prepared to face exams and future challenges, all while preserving their international experience.
